Mountain View Preschool is a Jr Kindergarten program for children in their fourth year. Children must turn four on or before December 31 of the year they attend Mountain View Preschool.
How to Register
*Registration for the 2023/2024 school year will open on December 1, 2022.
On the first day of *November a new registration queue link will open for the coming year. This link along with a link for the current school year can be accessed through the Enter Registration Queue button located at the top of this page.Â
Upon entering the registration queue, you will be asked to provide your child’s name and birth year, as well as your contact information. Within two days of submitting your form you’ll receive an email notifying you of your registration status and information about how to proceed.
School Visits
School visits are a mandatory part of the registration process for families that are new to Mountain View.
Prior to visiting the school, you must: 1) enter the appropriate registration queue, 2) receive email confiramtion that a space is available, 3) secure space by submitting a registration form and registration fee (refundable for 30 days after payment).
After submitting your registration form and fee, you will receive a list of upcoming dates (within the 30 day registration fee refund period) when you and your child can visit the school to make sure it’s the right fit for your family.
CCFRIÂ (Child Care Fee Reduction Initiative)
Mountain View Preschool is opted into the CCFRIÂ which currently reduces our $4500 yearly tuition by $150/month. We will continue to reduce tuition fees as CCFRI support increases. Any changes to tuition will be communicated to families before being applied to upcoming preauthorised debit payments. Please visit the CCFRI webpage to find out about upcoming reductions.
Registration Fee – $200
A one-time registration fee is payable at the time of registration. This registration fee is refundable for 30 days after payment during which time families can visit the school to make sure Mountain View is the right fit for their child.
Tuition (10 months) – $3000
Mountain View tuition is payable by monthly pre-authorized debit on the first of each month, September through June. A minimum of 30 days notice is required to cancel upcoming tuition payments. Withdrawal notice must be communicated via email to deb@mountainviewpreschool.com.
ACCB (Affordable Childhood Benefit Program)
The Government of BC has recently broadened their Child Care Subsidy Program to make it available to more families. Check out the GOV.BC website to see if your family qualifies for reduced monthly payments
