The Mountain View math program teaches a variety of fundamental Math skills at a concrete level.  Concepts such as number recognition and one-to-one correspondence are developed through daily activities such as calendar time, numeracy games, puzzles, and free play toys.

Monthly math topics include sorting, the number line, patterning, skip counting, addition, subtraction and geometry.

Each Mountain View math lesson starts with the arrival of a much loved and highly anticipated member of our Mountain View teaching team; the Math Hat!  Students are pulled into lively conversations between the teacher and Math Hat as it magically provides games and activities to help reinforce monthly Math themes. 

Your child will be so caught up in the excitement and fun of the Math Hat, they might even forget they are learning! Keeping it fun is the key… the rest is under The Hat!
