Toastminors

TOASTMINORS FOCUSES ON THREE MAIN AREAS...

Public Speaking

Children in Toastminors learn how to put together and deliver an excellent presentation. They will learn that every presentation needs a strong Introduction, Body, and Conclusion. They will also learn and develop 10 important 'Toastminor Keys' that will help them confidently present to large and small audiences alike.

Social & Etiquette Training

Toastminors learn and practice such skills as how to introduce themselves to someone new, how to introduce a friend to another friend or parent, how to answer the phone, how to carry a conversation, how to express a point of view, how to graciously respond to differing points of view, and more!

Leadership Skills

It is our belief that all children can be Leaders, especially if they possess some important skills. In Toastminors children will be coached in skills such as Listening, Encouragement, and Role Modeling. Children who are back for their second and third years as ‘Toast-majors’ and 'Toast-Marshalls' will enjoy added responsibilities and coaching in Leadership Training.
